Ingredients:

  • Turkish bread or rolls
  • 1 tablespoon Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Mersey Valley vintage cheese, crumbled (or Gorgonzola)
  • 1 tablespoon Blue cheese (optional, Gorgonzola recommended)
  • 1/2 cup pickles and pickled jalapenos, diced and combined
  • 1/2 white onion, diced
  • Fire-roasted pickled red peppers, sliced into strips
  • 200g Scotch fillet steak
  • Butter (for cooking steak)
  • Creamy buffalo sauce

Method:

  1. Lightly toast the Turkish bread or rolls.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of Philadelphia cream cheese on each toasted bread or roll.
  3. Sprinkle crumbled Mersey Valley vintage cheese or Gorgonzola on top of the cream cheese.
  4. Optionally, add 1 tablespoon of Blue cheese (Gorgonzola) for an extra kick.
  5. Dice the pickles and pickled jalapenos and combine them. Keep half a cup of this mix for later use.
  6. Dice the white onion and set aside.
  7. Slice the fire-roasted pickled red peppers into strips.
  8. Cook the Scotch fillet steak according to your preference. If frying in a pan, add a little butter to get a nice crust on the steak.
  9. Lay the cooked steak on top of the cheesy bread.
  10. Layer on the reserved pickle and jalapeno mix, sprinkle with diced white onions, and add the strips of fire-roasted pickled red peppers.
  11. Generously spread creamy buffalo sauce over the top.
  12. Close the sandwich with the other half of the Turkish bread or roll.
  13. Buckle up for a mind-blowing steak sandwich experience!

Enjoy your gourmet steak sandwich with creamy cheesy spread and bold flavors!
