Club 4×4 – Keeping it simple

I really enjoy when things are simple. Especially when I’m forking out my hard earned. At the end of the day I’m the customer and appreciate good customer service.

Last week I did something a little strange; I went from a cheaper insurance policy on my Amarok to a more expensive policy. For most people this isn’t something that would ordinarily be considered. But when I got talking to the blokes at Club 4×4 about what was included in their policy, it was clear that my current cover wasn’t really going to cut it. Doing some of the things I do in some of the places I visit, for my freelance journo and photography business (shameless plug: www.outthereimages.com.au), I have always wondered, ‘Am I covered?’

During a short conversation over the phone, I was reassuringly told, “If you’re somewhere you’re allowed to be, then you’re covered.” That was enough for me. In under ten minutes I was covered and I even got a free subscription to Pat Callinan’s 4×4 Adventures mag. They couldn’t have made it easier!
