Rooftop tents offer a comfortable solution as camping accommodation. They also offer peace of mind to those who are worried about creepy crawlies infiltrating their tent. However, the main concern with rooftop tents is that they take away a whole section of storage, but the soon-to-be-released X-Cover from iKamper looks to change that. The iKamper X-Cover comes equipped with two crossbars that are rated up to 50kg, so you can bring your kayak along too. With a claimed two-to-three minute set-up and, no canvas cover you have to take on or off, the X-Cover could be one of the easiest rooftop tents around. Weighing in at 55kg and only 26cm high when closed, the iKamper X-Cover is compact while also claiming to sleep three adults or two adults and two children comfortably on its 6.5cm thick king-sized mattress. Expected to be released mid-April 2019.
